In "Because You Left" we see a repeat of the scene where Ben turns the frozen donkey wheel we see Locke start to shield his eyes with his left arm and turn his head to the right. When the light dissipates, Locke is now doing the opposite- shielding his eyes with his right arm and now looking more or less straight ahead.
